As mentioned earlier, Angers is around 300km from Paris, so visiting the French capital is a good idea for a day trip, with the journey taking around 3 hours by car.

Bordeaux – another fantastic wine-producing region – is just under four hours away, while history-lovers might prefer to visit either Rennes or Reims, which can be reached in just over an hour and a half and four hours, respectively.
