Staff were very helpful at pick up and drop off. They anwered my questions, and provided maps. On return of the vehicle they also me a good place to refuel so that I didn't incur big costs. It was all very efficient and seamless. And I got frequent flyer points to boot.

The car rental kiosks are located at the airport and the cars are available there. This made pick up and return quite,easy.
Check in was a little slow as only ne agent was available and numerous people were waiting to rent.

Europcar were very helpful and explained
Europcar offered us a deal to reduce the excess on our insurance. However we had already taken out a excess reduction option when we booked the car through holidaycars.com. It seemed that Europcar had no record of this excess reduction. When I asked them then how did the excess payment worked if there was to be an accident they couldn't provide the answer. This needs to be improved so the customer is confident there is a process thanks

Great friendly and helpful staff. Provided good information and location map plus some complimentary water to get us on the way. Perfect car at a great price. Easy return location and speedy and efficient processing.
Only issue was having been dropped at the terminal as email stated we then had to walk quite a distance with our luggage to the outside kiosk which we had just gone past. An update to the instructions, even if just an email or SMS or WhatsApp to say on the day that between 'x - y' times go straight to kiosk would help.

Easy drop off - big plus!
Pick-up was the opposite. Car hire co's should look at hirers pre-filling all required documentation online (except the vehicle details which they can add on the day), so that when I get to the desk I can be gone without waiting for someone to do that. They can just check the ID details. Luckily I arrived with only one person ahead of me. Three more showed up after me to line up, and at 5-10 minutes a pop to process depending on questions asked by hirer, they would have waited longer than I did, which was 7 minutes to get to the desk, and about 11 minutes to process me. Anything that can be pre-filled with Europcar to save time I'd do in a second before I left if option was there. Including answering all the relevant questions on options.

I have rented cars from Europcar (often via AutoEurope) on many occasions. This one was a great rate, a great car and a smooth experience except when it came to contacting Europcar directly to make a (in my opinion) small change (dropping off in Launceston), but this was a complete pain!
Enable customers to get an answer without 7 calls to the Europcar call centre.
