It is the largest airport in the Nordic countries and one of the oldest international airports in Europe. The airport is located on the island of Amager, just 8 kilometers south of Copenhagen city center, and 24 kilometers west of Malmö city center via the Øresund Bridge. The airport covers an area of 11.8 square kilometers. The airport is the main hub out of three used by Scandinavian Airlines and is also an operating base for Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia and Norwegian Air Shuttle.

Quite nice. Larger than I expected. Clean and well organized. Pleasant atmosphere. Good variety of shops and restaurants. The security was a bit stiffer than standard these days. But it was well staffed and the process went relatively quickly.

Awesome to walk through Copenhagen city centre. Try food trucks close to the "Amsterdam looking" streets. Also visiting other cities like Roskilde or another ones at the cost line is worth the try. Really nice sunrises and sunsets by the sea. Definitely recommend to try smarenbod.

CPH is generally a good airport. Easy to find your way around as the signage is plentyfull and good. The only backdrop is that the car rental center opens at 7:00AM so if you arrive before that time you will have to wait. The rental center is set up in a satellite building which is locked until open hour. So you better wait inside the airport terminal if the weather is cold and raining.

This was my first time out of the USA. Copenhagen airport was really easy to navigate and the restaurants are higher quality then San Francisco. The pizza place had a breakfast pizza that was really amazing. The airline employees are strangely intelligent and helpful compared to US airlines. The Wifi in European airports is super fast and stable. Very few places for charging your electronics.

If renting a car at Copenhagen airport during your vacation while not staying at the airport, it is best to rent a cab as the car rental desk is removed from the terminal. If one has just flown into CPH, the car rental van is the best choice for arriving at the terminal. Should you need to go back to town following return of your car, the shuttle will take you to terminal 3 which has immediate access to the Metro and provide you with a fast and efficient means of returning to the city center.

Walk as much as possible and book tables at restaurants online - perhaps avoid Nyhaven restaurants as over priced.

Great city. Don't expect service. People have no idea what service is. They use the english word for service in their language because in Danish it doesn't exist. As long as you visit countries like the Czech Republic or Russia before... you will think their service is great.
