Worst experience I have ever had.we had a scheduled tome to pick up the vehicle we rented 1 hour before the scheduled closing time and EZ was not open they had no service # and referred to email. We ended up having to rent from another rental company and it took going through our bank to get a refund.

very nice people at counter, especially the lady from ethiopia gave us an upgrade to a luxury SUV for reasonable extra cost the car was clean and fine
had to wait a long time for shuttle very slow process at the counter -- need more staff long wait for car to be brought to front car had one gold rim. we would have preferred 4 gold rims

The bottom line: VERY HAPPY CAMPER. Honestly, I was really concerned about my reservation after reading so many negative reviews. I was arriving at 11:25pm and facility was closing at 12. Getting out of the plane, getting luggage and catching the last shuttle sounded like a disaster ready to happen. So, I did call E-Z Rent 800 number before getting on the plane. It took around 5 min to get to a rep, which is a bit longer than one would want, but totally acceptable. The agent added instructions to my reservation and, to make sure everything is fine, he called the location and advised that I was coming. He said that the last shuttle was leaving airport at 11:45pm. In case if I was late, he gave me the location’s phone number. I did manage to catch the shuttle which arrived at 11:45pm on a dot. The rest was a breeze. It took 8min to get to the location. It is pretty close to the airport. The travel time has more to do with the highway exit and E-Z Rent location. Once I got the car, it took me 5 min to be back at the airport, because the highway entrance was right there. I paid for a small SUV and got a mid-size one with only 6.5K miles on it, without charges or any problems. The whole process took no more than 10min. We had a snow storm when I was heading to Brighton Ski Resort and lots of AWD SUVs were turning around or sliding. I was a very happy camper with the right tires – no issues going in and coming back.
When it is freezing cold, it would be nice to preheat the car while doing paperwork. I believe the lady who serviced another client at the neighboring counter offered it. When I asked, my agent just said NO. Yeh, I did not die. But, considering that I was in one shirt and, all my warm closes were still at the airport, it was pretty cold (17F). That "NO" sounded like - I REALY DON'T CARE.

EZ car was easy to get to from the airport and easy to pick up! I was ready to go in less than 15 minutes. Dropping the car off was just as easy and the cost was very affordable. The car was brand new (2017). The staff was pretty friendly too.
Cannot think of any improvements or suggestions at this time. Maybe some before car driving mints? That's a joke. ..or is it...

Locating the E-Z Rent a Car counter in Las Vegas McCarrean Airport Car Rental Center was a snap. There was not much wait time at the counter until it was our turn to check in with the agent. Our agent was very professional in her actions, knowledge and appearance. She was also very friendly! It did not take long at all to process, initial and sign all of our paperwork and explain about the rental. Also the pricing of our rental was the best deal out of all the other agency's in the center. She also pointed out to us that if we wanted to buy gas from them upon returning the car we would pay only $2.20 a gallon. Which was about .30 cents or less a gallon in gas stations around Las Vegas. We were booked to rent a Nissan Versa or similar and were quite surprised when we were asked by the agent if we would mind being up graded to a Jeep Compass at no additional charge to us for the up grade. Naturally we said what was the catch but she explained there wasn't any catch. Getting to and picking up our rental was both fast and easy to do at this location. After really enjoying our week in and around Las Vegas, returning it to E-Z Rental at the rental center was also very fast and easy. We would recommend this rental company to anyone.
May a little more help at the counter at peak rental hours. I might want someone to explain the operation of the car if the client never drove one before.
