#1 Tip. If you are traveling from Canada purchase your insurance from your one insurance company at home, it is much cheaper. Other than that no tips, it was very easy to rent through this site and Alamo made it very easy to get our car and drop it off.

This is the first step since you would be very hard- pressed indeed to find rental pricing as consistently reasonable as Holiday. In the case of my wife and I we reserved about a month out. We needed to recall from our past car rental experiences that the only form of payment to be accepted is the credit card- neither debit card nor any other form of payment will be accepted. The greatest opportunity to set one's mind at ease and thereby provide maximum enjoyment of the travel is to make all as simple and light as possible. When planning air travel my wife and I focus on basic allowed dimensional carry- on [ check with specific airline for their specific dimensions as they vary } . That is a couple of T-shirt type shirts, undergarments,3 oz. or smaller toothpaste and mouthwash, a small sandwich bag of a snack item such as mixed nuts, a paperback book, magazine or smaller hardcover book, plus a change or two of socks. One other item we have found needful was to place a sandwich bag of quarters to serve as laundry money. If you should say now or find later that you are in need of few more practical items than these basic jeans/ T- shirt and etc. why not visit a local thrift store at or near your destination? In so doing your purchase/donation can help fill a need for another! Then fill up on smiles over the unlimited miles!

The gate was crowded when we got there but, there was a great outside terrace that we sat at with tables and chairs. The little corner store was very convenient and right by our gate. The people at the podium were very polite. "Have a nice trip" was said to each person as they boarded. We love this little airport!

This is a small airport in Mesa where you get out on the tarmac. Only a fee airlines fly into this one but if you can use this one I recommend it wholeheartedly. Was the easiest experience I've ever had flying.

People were great and easy to work with. Given a free upgrade and loved the Rav4. I will be telling all my friends about Holiday and Alamo. Vehicle was very clean and great on gas. Gentleman who got us the vehicle was great and very knowledgeable. Delivering vehicle at 5 in the morning was much easier than any company I've used in the past. Will definitely use Holiday and Alamo again. Thank you, Tim

Best travel tips would be to print boarding passes if you can. Have a major credit card handy if needed. Make sure you print two invoices as recommended. And, always use Holiday Cars! I checked around A LOT and didn't find anyone else that could beat their prices. I didn't have a coupon, but after checking I was able to book the same type of car with the same features for under half!!! I couldn't believe it and did a lot of shopping around.

Do your homework before you travel, many great deals on Hotels, B&B's, and yes rental cars, we got a great rate and car through Alamo. We use them often. Pack smart, we always over pack, check the 10 day forecast, and bring appropriate clothing for daytime and nighttime temperatures. Bring some cash, your constantly eating out on Vacation, we pay our bill with a credit card, but your deserving wait staff will appreciate a cash tip, so if you go back, they'll remember and you'll get great service. Last, but not least, I try and see the good in everyone, but there are a few bad eggs in this world, so try and use good judgment with your new acquaintances, we've made many long time friend's on our travels, some others, well, let's just say, we're not Facebook Friends. Safe travels, get out and enjoy this beautiful country we live in.

There are so many great museums, art centers, gardens, and trails. Go hiking, go to the science center, zoo, and other outdoor venues! Just get outside and explore!

We were in Phoenix briefly just for the night. We enjoyed free pie at Village Inn - Got lucky arrived on Wed. Pie day. Great Breakfast place. Also ate supper at a Thai noodle place. Excellent food and service at both places. Motel was great too.

Flying into the mesa airport is a breeze. There are lots of great restaurants to enjoy in queen creek. Try san tan flats and oreganos.
