For those wanting a longer road trip, Girona (Spain) is just over five hours from the city, while Andorra la Vella (Andorra) can be reached in a seven-hour road trip.
Grenoble is also perfectly placed to see the French Riviera: Marseille is around 3 hours away, while Nice and Saint-Tropez can be reached in just over 4 hours.
