Car rental Las Vegas

Las Vegas is the largest and most populous city in Nevada, United States. Situated in the midst of southern Nevada desert landscape, the city is internationally famous for gambling, shopping and fine dining. Nicknamed as the Entertainment Capital of the World, it is one of the world's leading tourist destination, attracting worldwide travelers with its casino resorts and associated entertainment.

Driving your rental car in Vegas

Car rental in Las Vegas is the most favored way among tourists of exploring the Sin City and its surrounding natural beauties, which are only accessible by rental cars or organized tours, such as Spring Mountains, Grand Canyon, Mount Whitney and Zion National Park. When travelling outside the city with car rental in Las Vegas, beware that the desert surrounded Vegas can be demanding on your rental car, so make sure you rent a car in Las Vegas of solid condition and the insurance covers damages on windscreen, tires, and chassis. When driving in the city, be cautious of not exceeding the speed limit, as it takes no time for the motorcycle cop to catch the speeder. Try to avoid driving after 5 pm on Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip) or the freeway, as they are guaranteed congested. Instead use Industrial Road which runs parallel West behind NYNY, Monte Carlo, Bellagio Mirage etc or Koval or Paradise that run parallel to the West behind MGM Grand, Ballys, Flamingo etc. Make sure you book a GPS from the company of your car rental in Las Vegas beforehand to guide you through the rush hour chaos.

Parking with car rental

Parking your rental car in Las Vegas is no headache, thanks to the ample parking spaces. Parking in downtown Las Vegas is also quite easy compared to that in many other major cities. There are several hotels that will validate your parking there for up to five hours, such as California Hotel & Casino, Fitzgerald's, Four Queens, Golden Nugget, etc. However be cautious not to break any parking rules, as the parking enforcement of Las Vegas doesn't hesitate to issue a hefty fine. Never leave your rental car for a long period of time in a loading zone, as it is guaranteed to be towed away. When parking in the metered area, make sure you deposit enough amount of change. When parking in a lot, do not double park and make sure your rental car is not in the way of other cars.

We stayed with family so I don't have any hotel rental recommendations. There are discount tickets available for shows at a kiosk near the car rental locations at the airport. Cheep resteraunts are found off the strip.

Get away from the city and go out and see the desert. Its so incredibly beautiful. The city has a million activities to keep you busy, but the natural beauty of the desert is just amazing. Its very easy to get out of the city if you have a car rental.

When in Las Vegas, restrict your pleasures to a few each trip; it's not a once-in-a-lifetime destination. Doing too much can overwhelm you and lower your enjoyment quotient. Downtown is more user friendly than the strip.

Las Vegas has a lot to offer depending upon the age group of people and your purpose of visit. Some of the key attractions , I would suggest is : 1. Check out the interiors of the casinos. Each casino is based on a theme and have spent a good deal on it. 2. Shows - Lot of shows for each age group. 3. Bellagio Fountain - A very good fountain outside Bellagio. Must see 4. Casinos lot more ..

I was looking for a rental house for my son and pretty quickly realized that Craigslist was swarming with scams and cons. I strongly recommend using a real estate agent if renting is why you're headed to Las Vegas.
