When I returned to the carpark to return the keys to a postbox as the terminal desk was not manned, I happened to see a Hertz employee in the Car Park. He was very polite and helpful and explained that they have a manned office out there. His colleague quickly checked the car out. This service should be mentioned on the Hertz desk to instruct customers when it is empty.
On departure the desk was unmanned with no indication of what to do. I approached the information desk who said I should post my keys and documents in metal box outside the terminal. I was not happy with this and returned to the car to take photographs to prove it was undamaged and the tank was full. This was not good.

Fast, professional service - everything in line with expectations - no surprises. Car was OK non whatsoever problems - though with other companies I have driven bigger, better and newer cars for this price.
I have experienced other companies which provide better value for this price - I mean only in terms of the category*class of the vehicle=

I have booked ford Mondeo or similar and I got ford c max. It is not the same class of car.
