easy process in obtaining the vehicle although no need to go to the desk in the airport; instructions need to be changed.
Car wasn't spotlessly clean which raised doubts. After a week the credit card excess is still showing on my account. This should have been processed and deleted within a few days.

The staff were very friendly and happy to pass on information about the road network. The staff also treated us professionally and answered every question we had. Collecting and returning the car was hassle free and didn't take too much time either.
Leaving a map of the area in each car would be a great advantage for those who do not have a GPS or mobile data.

Very fast and effective check in process. Professional service. Shuttle takes you to the car park in minutes. The car itself is very modern and in new condition. Fuel consumption is very low and the diesel is cheaper in Ireland so it was a plus. Car return is fast and efficient as well. Overall very recommended.

Free upgrade; tidy car, polite and helpful staff.
Instruct online customers to download and read immediately after booking; just before completing the booking, include a pop up to say credit card will be required when collecting the car.

Excellent service, fantastic quality of vehicles-never worried about repairs needed, great mileage & exceptionally clean. The vehicle had lots of power, excellerated quickly when needed. Rental agent explained tolls and options available in friendly helpful manner. Only problem was the rented wifi didn't hold a charge & seemed to drop the signal frequently.
On the website, I would have liked to have known exactly how large the vehicle was compared to the vehicle we ended up renting due to the narrow roads. I also would have liked to have prepaid for the Super CDW coverage as I feel it's necessary in Ireland.

The car was the model we booked. It was new and clean inside. It also had extras such as park assist and cruise control. Sixt was by far the most popular rental desk in Dublin and there was a queue. Renting a car does take some time which meant that there was a wait of around 25 mins even although there were 3 people working at the desk. The shuttle bus to the rental car was quick and the driver was very friendly. Returning the car was a fairly quick experience. Sixt have someone check over the car when you bring it back.
When we booked the car through Holiday cars we took out extra insurance but were told at the Sixt desk that it was not recognised by them. In the event of an accident we would have to pay Sixt and claim the money back through Holiday Cars. They offered us additional insurance which I declined. Nevertheless 1500 Euro was blocked on my credit card.To be honest I think this could be made clearer to the customer.
