There are two type of rentacar shop in this airport. One is to depart directly from and back to the airport another is to move a rentacar shop away from the airport. Chic is to depart directly from the airport but you need to call directly to the shop by your phone whr you return. Another shops are to return to directly to the shop. Both are pros and cons.

I will highly recommend BKK airport because they have everything like car rentals. Especially the HERTZ company that gives us a very good and high quality service. When regards to holidays. The best city to go is PHUKET because when it comes to beaches PHUKET has its stunning view that will relieve your stress. The highway in Phuket was really amazing and lots of adventure because of its mountinous road. Thailand by itself is a good place to spend holiday because the people are so friendly, I will Highly recommend to everyone.

Some rent-a-car shop hire and return directly at the terminal like Chic and ThaiRentacar and others do not hire at the terminal and transfer to their shop about 2 miles away from the terminal but it may be easier to return the car to consider the terminal traffic jam and it is needless to call the staff.

There are several rent-a-car shop at Suvarnabhumi Airport and some of them are lent and return a car at the airport terminal directly and others are guided at the shop where is bit a way from the airport like this shop but I think it is easier to lent and return the car than the shop where is directly returned the car at the airport terminal where is clouded and you are needed to call the shop clerk when you return at the terminal.

Contact the airport staff an hour or so in advance and make sure you have the correct airport. Be ready to drive in the left side of the road. If you want to get used to Thailand driving, read a few traveler tips about what some nuances of Thai driving are, spend some time on the freeway first before heading into the major centres, you will feel less overwhelmed by the rhythm of driving. Book a Hotel with free parking. All service stations are full service, just sit and wait and pay the service attendant. Make sure you have the car cleaned by a oroffessional, Google Maps bring up loads of car washes, it costs about $10 AU and they do a magnificent detail, saving you deposit money.

Bangkok airport has good facilities and is OK once you know where to go. Finding a service station in the concrete maze around the airport is a challenge.

Allow massively more time when driving around Bangkok - imagine the longest time it could take to drive from A to B...then double it.

We liked the big open market in the end of the sky train. It is open on weekends. Lots of things and food. The tempel is a must plus the golden Buddha in China Town. The locals say that you can't walk in Bangkok. We did it and you see lots of things that normal tourists don't see. Bring long trousers and backpack. Do not accept to follow the recommendation you get for a very low TucTuc that drives you to the longtail boats. They cooperate to rip you off. Go to a pier instead and ask. The people are very friendly and willing to help.
