This is my Favorite airport in the US. There are musicians in the restaurants. It is a mid-size airport and easy to find quiet areas in. The food is good everywhere you go in this city, including the airport. The Security is almost always very fast, and the southern hospitality is alive and well (as much as possible for hectic environment). Not to mention that you are only a 10 minute drive to downtown Nashville once you are on the highway. This makes traveling there very easy! It was maxed out during the new year holiday rush and therefore not 5 stars because there's not enough room for everyone at certain times, but that's to be expected.

Prepare early and do research on travel arrangements. This will put your mind at ease if not you will forget something important and have to settle wich could cost more money. I researched my car rental and retured to advantage car rental for a second time. Customer service was excellent and will highly recommend them to others. Thank you

Wear comfortable shoes. Bring snacks on board your airline. Don’t pay for seat reservations, even if you are traveling with someone. Don’t pay for checked bags; bring a roll-on case. Bring earplugs on board. Bring a sleeping mask on board.

Easy in and out. Even though they are doing significant construction on the airport the signage was perfect. The restaurant options are great! Being that my flight was delayed for 90 minutes I had plenty of options to pick from for food. I also got my exercise walking back and forth in the airport.

Have everything out of your pockets. Electronics out and in a bin. No large belt buckles on. Advise TSA representative if you have and metal parts, hip, shoulder,etc. Do this and you should sail right the TSA process.

If you want a convertible book months in advance you might get lucky. Plan to stay more than one day. Stroll off of Broadway there is LOTS to see. Park & walk you will need more than a day but it's the best way to enjoy.

Airport is easy to navigate. A lot of food and drink choices. Luggage came out very fast. TSA agents were respectful. Construction going on so getting to the rental garage was a little confusing. Security was very helpful in sending us the right way.

Before you head out, have your Id card and credit card ready. Bring 2 copies of your papers. Get the insurance when you book, I hear its cheaper! Pay to return the gas with as little fuel as possible if you'll be driving a lot. Be kind and courteous and people will do the same. Great service and people!

A lot to see and do in Nashville. One pleasant surprise was Fowl Play, a little restaurant with open mic on Thursday night, great food, and over 25 local beers on tap to try.
