Cheap Car Rental Las Vegas

Cheap Car Rental Las Vegas

Las Vegas is the largest and most populous city in Nevada, United States. Situated in the midst of southern Nevada desert landscape, the city is internationally famous for gambling, shopping and fine dining. Nicknamed as the Entertainment Capital of the World, it is one of the world's leading tourist destination, attracting worldwide travelers with its casino resorts and associated entertainment.

Driving your rental car in Vegas

Car rental in Las Vegas is the most favored way among tourists of exploring the Sin City and its surrounding natural beauties, which are only accessible by rental cars or organized tours, such as Spring Mountains, Grand Canyon, Mount Whitney and Zion National Park. When travelling outside the city with car rental in Las Vegas, beware that the desert surrounded Vegas can be demanding on your rental car, so make sure you rent a car in Las Vegas of solid condition and the insurance covers damages on windscreen, tires, and chassis. When driving in the city, be cautious of not exceeding the speed limit, as it takes no time for the motorcycle cop to catch the speeder. Try to avoid driving after 5 pm on Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip) or the freeway, as they are guaranteed congested. Instead use Industrial Road which runs parallel West behind NYNY, Monte Carlo, Bellagio Mirage etc or Koval or Paradise that run parallel to the West behind MGM Grand, Ballys, Flamingo etc. Make sure you book a GPS system from your car rental company in Las Vegas beforehand to guide you through the rush hour chaos.

Car rental under 25 in Las Vegas

Almost all car rental suppliers in Las Vegas will let you rent a car when you are younger than 25 years old. The minimum age to drive in America is only sixteen and therefore car rental companies are not obliged to have a higher minimum age.
Can I rent a car at 21? Yes, most large suppliers rent out cars to people from 21 years and older. If you want to rent a car when you are below 21 the list of suppliers gets quite a lot shorter as only Hertz, Thrifty, Dollar and Fox rent out cars to people from 20 and below.
Keep in mind that car rental under 25 comes at a price. There is an additional surcharge for young drivers which goes from $18 up to $40 dollars per day (this differs per age group and per supplier).

Parking your rental car

Parking your rental car in Las Vegas is no headache, thanks to the ample parking spaces. Parking in downtown Las Vegas is also quite easy compared to that in many other major cities. There are several hotels that will validate your parking there for up to five hours, such as California Hotel & Casino, Fitzgerald's, Four Queens, Golden Nugget, etc. However be cautious not to break any parking rules, as the parking enforcement of Las Vegas doesn't hesitate to issue a hefty fine. Never leave your rental car for a long period of time in a loading zone, as it is guaranteed to be towed away. When parking in the metered area, make sure you deposit enough amount of change. When parking in a lot, do not double park and make sure your rental car is not in the way of other cars.
