--Be sure to check all necessary documents & passports needed, several months before leaving on a trip. --Check that the names on airline tickets are spelled EXACTLY the same as the I.D. being used for travel. --Check carry-on bags for items that are Not permitted to take along. Doing this ahead of time makes the security line procedure much better. --Flying dehydrates you--so drink ample water before, and also take a bottle of water with you when finished going through security. --Travel may be very tiresome at times, so be Patient and enjoy where you are at. --The experience of travel is rewarding--"the World is like a giant book, and those who do not travel only read the first page!"

San Antonio airport is very nice. The car rental at airport is very easy to get to. The drop off is just as easy. A lot of things to do in San antionio. Visit the riverwalk. Dont miss on seeing the japanese tea house. Just a beautiful area. We will definitely be back to see a lot more sites. 3 Days is not enough. One more place not to miss is the Magnolia pancake house.

In the San Antonio area there's 3 "must do's". Visit the Alamo as it is such a significant piece of US history. Do the River Walk downtown. It's great in the day and you should also take it in during the evening. Lots of great places to eat. Grab a cold beer or margarita and wander around. And also, take your rental car up to Groene about half an hour or so north of town. It's a great little place to walk around and there are some great little restaurants. Outside of San Antonio, the drive to El Paso is nice. Consider a loop that includes San Antonio, up to Santa Fe NM, down through Roswell NM (if you're into UFO's and alien stuff) and then back to the San Antonio area. We will gladly return to this area.

There are no tips required----the San Antonio Airport makes things EASY, it's impossible to get lost, the staff are amazing...it's the best airport I have ever flown into or out of...bar none.

The winter golf was excellent. Our VRBO home was just what we needed. The food was good. The Alamo and River Walk. The visit to the Gruene Dance Hall was a blast!
