This is the third time I have used Green Motion at Stansted and again enjoyed a sublime service. The booking process was quick and easy and the rental rate was very competitive. The collection and return were both quick and efficient and the staff were polite, friendly and efficient and a credit to the company. I collected the car on a wet 6am morning and was told by one of the staff that, as vehicle inspection would be difficult to do in those conditions, I would be allowed up to 10am to check the car for damage and notify them if needed. I thought this was brilliant and trustworthy. The vehicle was in showroom condition, valeted and clean throughout. The hire car also came with the manual which is invaluable when trying to understand all the new controls and instruments. This is something I have not experienced with other hire companies. I applaud the fuel policy at Green Motion too. I collected the vehicle with a quarter of a tank of petrol and paid for it and on return, with the same amount of fuel in, got reimbursed the original amount. Another A++ rental service from Green Motion. I would recommend Green Motion and will be using them again in the future. Very satisfied.

Take a trip to south of England. Cornwall is the name of the county and it holds multiple beaches with lovely views. Take time to enjoy the hills of Devon county on your way down. Stop of a Philps for a Cornish pasty. Cream tea in England is amazing and will definitely have you coming back for more. Fish and chips was actually invented for the Americans during the 2nd world war. But no one does it better than the British.

Stansted is a great airport to start a vacation on the east coast, which is less than hour away. The coffee shop at Thremhall park is a hidden gem only a few minutes from Stansted airport. Pop in on for breakfast on the way to or from the airport. Constable's painting, the Haywain, is based on a National Trust site in Flatford on the River Stour, about 45 minutes from the airport. If food isn't included in your flight, don't bother paying extra for it in advance. Buy a meal deal at the airport, saving money and ensuring you get a drink for the flight. Fill up the rental car close to the airport to avoid expensive fuel charges, but not too close as the nearer to the airport you get, the higher the price.

If you can avoid flying out of Stansted on a Saturday morning do so. Very busy. Took nearly an hour to get through immigration and security.

Travel easy. Security well managed. Good selection of food outlets although the one I chose could have better servers. Waiting areas reasonable although could do with more comfortable chairs. Exit signage could do with more clarity. Staff courteous. All good

Never had issues with Stansted and they have enlarged and improved security departing and passport checks arriving. The process was smooth and quick for a busy period around Christmas. Using EasyJet I wound definitely add 2 bags to increase the weight allowance as one is charge per kg if over the allowance.

They helped when I booked the wrong month Perhaps a light blue Fiat 500 wasn't the best the pickup and return was easy with free transport to and from the airport the gentleman who checked the car back in Polish I think was very efficient with a smile on his face which is always welcome when faced with a 27 hr flight back home will definitely use them again when in the UK next year

At Stansted airport, there is no jet bridge to the terminal, be prepared for a short ride on a bus from the aircraft to the terminal building. The baggage carousel board does not display correctly the right info sometimes, was standing there for several minutes waiting for it to display which carousel my flight is using. Had to manually check all the carousel to find my bags. There is a tax free shop just before you exit the arrival, so you have a last minute shopping opportunity. It's a relatively small airport. most of the car rental pickups are just a short walk out of the airport. There is an info desk right in the middle of the arrival, and friendly staff available to answer you questions.

Plan route into car rental village in advance. Better road signs would help. Transfer from airport to car rental village very easy and short trip. Make sure all your paperwork is with you and the correct credit card.

Don't drive into central London. Our car from Easirent was perfect for visiting lots of places, friends and family in towns around London and was much cheaper and more convenient than public transport which in UK is very expensive.
